The New BadAss Bass

So the boy has been taking guitar lessons for about 2 months now. He's getting pretty good. Pretty soon, I'll send him out to play on the streets for money (like a monkey).

Now, I've always wanted to play the Bass guitar. I love the brooding rumble of the bass…I like the walking bass lines…I like the pop slap funky grooves…I like it all. Anyway, the boy (with his guitar playing) has inspired me to finally pick up the Bass. So last night, I went out and bought myself a Fender American Standard Jazz Bass.

As you can see, it's got the classic BADASS BASS bridge.

The confounded Mrs. Pig asks "Why don't you play guitar"?

Because the guitar has got too many strings that are too close together. The Bass is perfect for my beefy man-hands.

Here's me one year in the future.

Apparently in the future, I not only rock the Bass, but I lose 80 pounds, grow a beard, and learn Spanish.

You play the bass too? Welcome to the club. Yes the frets and strings are made for the 'fat finger' club for men…

I don't think you'd be able to play one string than quickly in just a year, let alone the three others you have, or the four others the guy in your video has!

Mind you, regardless of your skill level you could at least put a cool bumpersticker on the pig-mobile…"Bass players have longer G – strings"

Same here…. would love to be able to play bass, but no patience and no time to learn…..
    Someday…… soon I hope….. B-)
