With my first publisher’s deadline looming in a few weeks, it’s time to install and test-drive the new Office 2010 Technical Preview.
All the articles I’ve read about it so far are positive. I’m pretty sure that Excel itself hasn’t changed all that much. I think Access users can expect some big changes, especially in the area of macros.
I’ve got alot of fresh ideas for the books this go around, so I’m hoping to add a ton of new material to all my titles.
I’m not sure how much I can talk about the new release here. I’ll figure that out this weekend.
I’ve got to go now. My 4 year old daughter is putting her whole hand in her mouth and I’m not sure why.

Your daughter is simply reminding you of Microsoft’s gag order on Office 2010.
John: Could be. She’s always going onto suspect websites when I’m not watching.
I once caught her on some pervy site call “J-Run”…or J-McWalkenCox”…something with a J.
Maybe she was looking for bacon?
BTW, according to Jon Peltier there’s no gag order?

Like Microsoft and the Ribbon – she’s doing it just because she can do it…
She’s probably showing concern about this weekend’s upcoming bacon recipe.
