New Website and Wordle

I decided that I wanted to refresh my website. The old site was dark and dated.

For this version of the site, I knew I wanted to have two things: a minimalist look and feel, and a Word-Cloud as a banner.

.

Well, after a few days of work, I pulled this together.

Now that I see it, I’m not sure how I feel about the Word-Cloud. In any case, it’s too much of a pain to change it, so it stays for now.

.

.

To create the Word-Cloud,

I used wordle.net.

Wordle lets you create Word-Clouds by either entering words yourself, or simply referencing a website.

.

.

Just puttering around, I entered DailyDoseofExcel.com in the URL and Wordle gave me this.

How cool is that?

.

There are a good bit of customizations you can do in terms of word positioning, coloring, and even an advanced screen to control word size.

.

You can even save your creation to the official Wordle gallery.

Here’s a Word-Cloud from someone in New-Zealand (maybe our own Excel MVP sister Teylyn?):

.

I’m guessing this Word-Cloud is from someone in America:

.

Anyway, check it out and have some fun.

As a local, I have to point out that that word cloud is NOT from New Zealand, due to the telling absence of Rings, Lord, The, Of, and Hobbit.

    Or maybe it’s a 1960s word cloud.

Heya my business is with the key moment below. I came across this kind of table so i think it is definitely beneficial & that taught me to be available a lot. I am hoping to produce the one thing just as before as well as help other individuals such as you forced me to be.
