It’s summer time and blog readership will be down. So I’m saving my good Excel and Access tricks for later. Right now, I’m continuing my ‘Road of the Excel Bastards’ series.

Today’s Excel Bastard is Bob Umlas!

Bob is the New York MVP who’s always ready with a joke and a quick comeback. He’s one of the first Microsoft MVPs and a very close friend to Thomas Jefferson.

Here is my exclusive interview with Bob Umlas, Excel Guru.

DataPig: What’s your favorite thing in your refrigerator right now?

Bob: Steak

DataPig: Red Shirt or Blue?

Bob: Blue

DataPig: How many hats do you have?

Bob: 1

Ok. Bob didn’t specify what Kind of hat it was so I’m guess it’s the one he was issued when he joined the Army.

DataPig: Who plays your role in a movie about Excel?

Bob: Myself.

DataPig: Which Superpower do you want: Invisibility, Flight, Strength, or Mind Reading?

Bob: Flight.

DataPig: What’s the title of your autobiography?

Bob: It’s Not Magic, It’s Bob!

DataPig: Who do you like better, Tom or Jerry?

Bob: Jerry.

DataPig: What’s the most important part of the sandwich?

Bob: Bread.

Oh you mean like this?

DataPig: What’s the Best thing you ever ate?

Bob: End cut of Roast Beef w/Bone.

It’s clear to me that Bob likes Cows.

DataPig: What’s the Worst thing you ever ate?

Bob: Mussels.

Come on Bob – It looks like the inside of an Ox’s nose and it tastes like the inside of a jock-strap. What’s not to like?

Marlin: Nothing at all! One of the best steaks I still have ever had was the one I had at your place. I’ve never squeezed a lime on my steaks until you did it. Now I lime every steak I cook up. mmmmm!

    Hello,

You have got to be joking. Bob Umlas is one of the Top Excel experts in the world (Top 5, for sure).

Do you consider this an interview with such an expert ?

He was too polite, if I had been in his shoes, I would have rejected these stupid questions (:-(((.
